The LUCAS OIL PRODUCTS WORLD STREET II cruise and qualifying will be run in conjunction with the Real Street Outlaw Class and the rules are the same as Real Street Outlaw. ANY COUNTRY may have as many entires as they wish for the WORLD STREET CLASS however only the TOP 4 Qualifiers for that country will qualify for the WORLD STREET II. Those that do not qualify for the WS II portion of the event may still compete in the REAL STREET OUTLAW CLASS.
Current Valid Plate/Tag and "Street Legal equipment" - (To be plated your car MUST be "Street Legal", for example: mufflers, working headlights, signals etc. are considered critical equipment and are Mandatory. You will be required to produce an up-to-date Plate/tag/or sticker as proof of the road worthiness of your car. Your car will be tech'd according to basic critical items of street Equipment as noted above and as required by your country's law)
Current Insurance and Registration Documents Required - (Don’t think we won’t know...we’ll check it out. All registration and insurance documents will be collected and photocopied)
ENGINE/TRANSMISSION - ANY engine/transmission combination is permitted. POWER ADDER - Any type of power adder or combination thereof is permitted. CHASSIS - Any type of chassis configuration is permitted BODY - Any type of full bodied regular production body style/or replica thereof is permitted. Must have working doors.
TIRE - ANY size or type of DOT tire permitted, Drag front tires may be used due to speed rating requirements based on the capabilities of your car.
FUEL - Gasoline only, no alcohol
QUALIFYING - 3 back to back Qualifying passes within 45 minutes of cruise (Average of 3 determines ladder)
CRUISE - 20 Mile Minimum Cruise Mandatory to qualify. No nitrous bottles permitted on cruise. Fuel Fill and bottle install only permitted following cruise. There will be a HOT START during the cruise
FIELD - All run field.
ENTRIES/Qualifying for WORLD STREET - An Unlimited Number of Entries are permitted from ANY country wishing to participate. The TOP 4 Qualifiers of EACH country entered will proceed into the WORLD STREET portion of the event. For example - If 5 countries are entered there will be the quickest 4 qualifiers from each of the 5 countries making the World Street Class, therefore 20 cars will be entered into the WS Eliminations. ANY cars that do not make the WS still compete in Real Street Outlaw.
CRUISE ACTIVITY
20 mile cruise Saturday. This cruise will end directly into the staging lane area. This activity will be escorted and monitored. Should you fail to make the cruise you will be disqualified. There will be a lead and a tail vehicle. If, for any reason, any RSO entry passes the lead or falls behind the tail vehicle, that car entry will be disqualified. SEE ATTACHED cruise rules and route for complete details on cruise.
Permitted activities following cruise - Fuel Fill and Bottle Install allowed after cruise while in staging lanes. This activity will be monitored. You will be allowed 1 crew member to assist you while in the lanes.
TUNING/REPAIRS
No tuning/repairs whatsoever permitted between qualifying rounds.
Any type of tuning/repair is permitted between the completion of qualifying and the start of elimination rounds, Any tuning/repair is permitted between elimination rounds.
Note: Tuning/repairs means just that. No engine or transmission changes or swaps are permitted between the completion of qualifying and start of eliminations. ALL engines will sealed by CFSC Technical Officials at install point. If for some reason major damage requires engine/trans removal CFSC Technical staff MUST be contacted to remove seal and inspect damage/repair parts, and to re-seal the engine/trans at mounting point.
TOWING - No towing back to pits after ANY pass during qualifying or eliminations.
SCALES - As there are NO minimum weights a scale/tech stop is required ONLY after the FINAL (3rd) qualifying pass in order for final tech inspection.
LADDER & TREE - Sportsman ladder. Pro .400 tree.
RULES FOR CRUISE & STAGING LANE ACTIVITY
The Cruise will begin in the Staging lanes at approximately 1:30pm Saturday. All vehicles will be lined up in staging lane
You will be allowed 1 passenger during the cruise.
The cruise will have starts and stops, highway driving at approximately 60-80kms (37-55mph), city driving from 5-50kms/hr. (3-30mph). A HOT START will be part of the cruise activity.
You MUST FOLLOW ALL RULES OF THE ROAD. ZERO TOLERANCE POILICY APPLIES ie: stop signs, lights etc. If you fall behind do not be alarmed simply use your directions, the tail vehicle will stay several minutes behind.
There will be a lead and tail vehicle.
If you pass the lead vehicle you will be disqualified.
If you fall behind the tail vehicle you will be disqualified.
If you break down, Pull safely off to the side. The tail vehicle will arrange for help to be sent out following their return.
Upon return to the Track the cars will be directed back to the staging lane area.
You are permitted 1 (one) ONLY crew member and yourself to perform the following activities: 1. Nitrous Oxide Bottle(s) installation. 2. Fuel fill up
There will be approximately 30 minutes allowed to complete these items
Your crew member may be someone other than your passenger but only a single individual may help.
There is NO tuning of ANY KIND permitted in the staging lanes or anywhere/anytime during the qualifying cruise and 3 back to back passes. Hoods are NOT allowed to be lifted for any reason except for fuel fill and only if monitored by an EDRS Official.
You are then required to complete 3 back to back ¼ mile passes to qualify. Each competitor must make all 3 passes breaking both the starting and finish line beams. There is no time between these passes. EACH COMPETITOR MUST return directly to the staging lanes after the first 2 passes, then to the Tech area for final tech following their 3rd pass. The average of these 3 passes will determine your qualifying position. THESE ACTIVITIES WILL BE STRICTLY MONITORED BY EVENT PERSONNEL. Failure to comply with any of these items will result in disqualification from the class.

Each Entry that qualifies for the WORLD STREET portion of the event will receive a Lucas Oil Products Prize Package.
